Ecommpay on NORBr: what your merchants can activate under your brand

Ecommpay is pre-integrated in NORBr, the white-label payment infrastructure for PayFacs, PSPs, ISOs and ISVs. Operators can activate Ecommpay acquiring for their merchants from the NORBr Console, without new development, and combine it with their other providers in routing, fallback and reconciliation, all under their own brand.

International expansion is not only about finding new customers for your merchants. It is about giving them a consistent payment experience whatever the country, currency or channel, without each merchant signing and integrating a new acquirer. That is what the Ecommpay connection on NORBr is for. This article, updated in October 2026, covers what Ecommpay brings, which markets it opens, how an operator activates it, and how it fits a multi-provider setup.

What does Ecommpay bring to a PSP or PayFac running on NORBr?

Ecommpay adds a full acquiring stack to the providers an operator already runs on NORBr: card acquiring, alternative payment methods, recurring payments and payouts, delivered through one connection. For a PSP, PayFac or ISV, it is one more acquiring option to offer merchants without a dedicated integration project.

Through its own platform, Ecommpay provides smart routing on its side, real-time reporting, features built for recurring billing and subscriptions, virtual terminals, payment links and multi-currency processing. On NORBr, all of this sits behind the same API and the same Console as your other payment partners, so your team configures it once and your merchants see your brand, not the acquirer's.

Which markets and payment methods can your merchants reach through Ecommpay?

Ecommpay's acquiring coverage spans Europe, APAC, the Americas and MENA, with a broad range of local and alternative payment methods on top of cards. For an operator whose merchants sell cross-border, that coverage becomes available market by market from the NORBr payment network, next to the acquirers and local methods already connected.

The practical effect for your merchants: a single checkout that can present cards, wallets and open banking flows in the markets Ecommpay serves, with settlement and payouts handled on the acquiring side. The exact list of countries and methods is published by Ecommpay and should be checked against your merchants' target markets before activation.

How do operators activate Ecommpay for their merchants in NORBr?

Activation happens in the NORBr Console, in the same place an operator manages its other payment partners: the connection is already built and maintained by NORBr, so there is no onboarding delay on the technical side and no custom development. What remains is the commercial relationship with Ecommpay, which the operator or its merchant holds directly.

Once the acquiring account is live, the operator activates Ecommpay in the payment stack of the merchants concerned, sets the routing rules, and the first transactions flow. Merchants that already run on NORBr do not change anything in their integration. When a merchant still has to be boarded, the multi-acquirer onboarding article describes how one KYB can feed an application per acquiring partner.

How does Ecommpay fit into multi-provider routing and fallback?

On NORBr, Ecommpay is one route among several, not a replacement for the operator's existing acquirers. Routing rules decide, per transaction, whether Ecommpay or another provider processes it, based on geography, payment method, amount or risk level. If a transaction fails on one provider, fallback can resend it to another, and the result lands in the same consolidated reporting and reconciliation.

This is the difference between adding an acquirer and adding an acquirer to a white-label infrastructure. The operator keeps control of the routing strategy and of the data, and can rebalance volumes between providers without touching its merchants' integrations or asking them to re-enter stored cards, which stay valid across providers through tokenization.

What business models does Ecommpay support for payment platforms?

Ecommpay supports the models that matter to ISVs, ISOs and PayFacs: merchant onboarding with or without acquiring, revenue-sharing arrangements for B2B platforms, dedicated support and compliance assistance, and recurring payment flows. Its experience in retail, travel, fintech and mobility matches the verticals where many NORBr operators grow their merchant base.

Combined with NORBr's modular infrastructure, this lets a platform open a new market for its merchants with an acquirer that is already connected, while keeping its brand, its merchant relationships and its routing strategy. For operators expanding into new markets, that is usually the fastest path from decision to first transaction.

Ecommpay is one of the acquirers available in NORBr's payment network. The commercial terms of each acquiring relationship are set between the operator and the acquirer; NORBr provides the connection, the routing and the data.
