Description
Cetelem is a consumer credit company that offers a variety of financial products, including personal loans, revolving credits, and credit cards. With regards to payment methods, Cetelem allows its customers to repay their credit by direct debit, check, bank transfer, or credit card.
Direct debit is the most common payment method at Cetelem. It allows the customer to set up a monthly automatic debit to repay their credit. The amount is debited each month from the customer’s bank account, on a date agreed in advance. This makes repayment easier, by avoiding forgetting to pay or delaying payments.
Cetelem also accepts payments by check or bank transfer. If the customer chooses to pay by check, they must send their payment to the address provided on their credit contract. If they prefer to pay by bank transfer, they must use the bank details provided by Cetelem to make their payment.
Finally, Cetelem also offers a credit card, called the “Carte Cetelem”, which allows customers to pay for their purchases in installments. The card is associated with a revolving credit, which allows the customer to have a reserve of money to make their purchases. Repayments are made by direct debit or by check.
